Dr. Weirich received both her Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology and her Doctorate of Optometry degree from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana, where she was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa optometry honors fraternity.
She completed internships at the Veterans Hospital in Montrose, New York, and the Naval Hospital on the Quantico Marine Corps Base in Virginia.
In 1995, she opened her own practice in Alpharetta, which has grown into Alpharetta Eye Associates. She is an active member of the American Optometric Association and the Georgia Optometric Association.
