Dr. Steve Szirovecz
Doctor of Optometry
Dr. Szirovecz received his Doctor of Optometry degree from Indiana University School of Optometry in 1992. He then completed a one year residency in ocular disease at Omni Eye Services of Atlanta and became a staff optometrist there specializing in ocular disease the next nine years. During this time he was an Associate Professor for numerous Optometry Schools both in the states and internationally. In 2001 he joined Alpharetta Eye Associates, bringing to the practice an extensive background in ocular disease. Dr. Szirovecz is a current member of the American Optometric Association and the Georgia Optometric Association.
Dr. Brenda Weirich Szirovecz
Doctor of Optometry
Dr. Weirich received both her Bachelor of Science Degree in Microbiology and her Doctorate of Optometry Degree from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana, where she was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa optometry honors fraternity. She completed internships at the Veterans Hospital in Montrose, New York and the Naval Hospital on the Quantico Marine Corp Base in Virginia. In 1995 she opened her own practice in Alpharetta which has grown into Alpharetta Eye Associates. She is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Georgia Optometric Association.
Dr. Dawn Marsala
Doctor of Optometry
Dr. Dawn Marsala is originally from Pennsylvania, graduating from Penn State University, where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in 1993. She then attended University of Berkeley, California where she earned a Doctor of Optometry degree in 1997. She completed internships at Omni Eye Services of Atlanta and Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in North Carolina. She has been practicing optometry at Alpharetta Eye Associates since 1997. Her interests include lasik vision correction and specialty contact lenses fittings with multifocal and astigmatism correcting lenses.
